Weekly
Timetable
– regular
horse riding schedule at Bel-Air
You will find our regular
weekly riding timetable below. Coaching sessions in
cross-country jumping, show jumping and flatwork are
available at other times by arrangement. Guests who
come to Bel-Air for a riding holiday can join the
scheduled rides, and have additional lessons and
rides to suit their needs.
Horse riding is
described with different language in different parts of
the world. Our forest ride-outs, could also be called hacks,
treks or cross-country rides. They take you through fields
and forest, and also up Carrig mountain with spectacular
views of the Wicklow countryside right down to the sea. The
pace will depend on the standard of riders on a particular
ride, keeping in mind that we do only cater for experienced
rider, so you have to be comfortable in canter to ride out
with us.
A cross country jumping ride at
Bel-Air runs through our farm and parkland, where we jump
variety of cross-country fences. The fences are of different
heights and types, to suit different riders' abilities, and
there is an instructor with every ride.
Group lessons are held in our
all-weather arena or on grass when possible.
