– what to bring for your 
equestrian holidays at Bel-Air

For horse-riding, we advise guests to bring a good, well-fitting riding hat, suitable footwear, a body protector and a waterproof jacket.

The footwear should be boots with a flat sole and raised heel. Trainers/runners are not permitted.

For cross-country jumping, the hat must be a skull cap (no peak) and have one of the following labels: EN 1384 + kite mark or PAS 015 + kite mark.

We strongly advise guests to wear an approved body protector for all riding activities. For cross-country jumping, riders must wear a body protector of BETA level 3 standard with a purple label. It is essential that it fits well.
